jquery מה הבעיה פה? - הוסטס

למה הפונקציה הזאת קודם משנה צבע ורק אחרי זה היא מבצעת פקודות ולא קודם פקודות ואז שינוי צבע כמו שזה אמור לעשות?

הפונקציה היא :
