Ubuntu is the award-winning Linux distribution for the desktop, laptop and server which delivers the best of open source software every 6 months. Ubuntu 7.10 Desktop Edition includes advanced plug and play printing, enhanced browsing and the option of a smooth new user interface built on top of the latest enhancements to GNOME.

אגב אני ממליץ לאנשים להוריד ממירורים גרמניים, משום מה יש להם חיבורים דיי טובים לישראל.|winky|

משמעותיים? יש, אבל לא הרבה.
שיפורים קטנים ונחמדים יש לא מעט.

אני חושב שהם שמו יותר באגים מאשר עדכונים.
התקנת דרייברים של הכרטיס מסך שלי לא עובדת, אני מקבל הודעת שגיאה שnvidia-glx או משהו כזה לא מופעל. (ברור שהוא לא מופעל, זה מה שאני מנסה להפעיל...)
Synpatic Package Manager כותב שהוא לא מעודכן, שאני לוחץ עדכון זה מראה חלון כאילו זה מוריד משהו, והתוכנה נסגרת. שאני מנסה להכנס שוב אותה שגיאה שאני צריך לעדכן.
משום מה היה באג ב6.10 שזה לא זיהה את הDHCP של הראוטרים ותיקנו אותו, זה חזר לי בגירסא 7.10. (זה לא כל כך חשוב, כי קינפגתי את האינטרנט ידנית)

מה הולך איתם? אם הם מוציאים שחרור שיעשו אותו כמו שצריך..

אני שמח להודיע על משלוח של עשרה דיסקים לירושלים.
הדיסקים הוזמנו לפני מספר דקות, ויגיעו לירושלים בעוד כשבעה שבועות.
הדיסקים נועדו להפצה באיזור ירושלים, ונשלחו למשתמש Gix (טל).
מעוניינים בעותק ומתגוררים או נמצאים לא מעט באיזור ירושלים? מוזמנים לתאם מקום ותאריך עם טל, והוא ידאג לספק לכם עותק.

חשוב לציין - מדובר בעשרה עותקים נוספים על עשרים העותקים שיגיעו בעוד כחודש.
